A teen review of Scythe by Neal Shusterman.
Scythe is one of those books that won’t just keep you on the edge of your seat for a short amount of time, but the whole story. During Rowan and Citra’s apprenticeship with Scythe Faraday they not only learn about scythe hood, they learn life lessons and discover what it means to be in love. All is well until the unimaginable happens, not just once but twice. They have to not only develop physical but mental skills to defend themselves and each other on their non stop adventures.
I enjoyed this book. I don’t really know what I was expecting from this book but it definitely exceeded it. People who enjoy dystopian books will definitely enjoy Scythe. I highly recommend this book to people who like to stay on the edge of their seat.
