A review of Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer.
Life As We Knew It is a fiction book. It has lots of suspense as it goes on and it hooks you as it tells you of how Miranda’s family survives their now apocalyptic-ish lives. They now have to survive off of their food and water supplies while not trying to catch any diseases. The book has twists and turns that will make you not want to put the book down.
Maranda, her friends and family are enjoying their life until a asteroid is supposed to hit the moon and do “nothing” but as they watch it hit the moon their life will change forever. Now they are having to survive as the world goes crazy since the moon is now closer to the earth. Tsunamis start to happen, earthquakes as well, and volcanoes are starting to erupt. Who will survive and how will they survive as the world loses electricity every now and then and the world is getting colder, also now mosquitoes are starting to have a deadly disease.
The book was really good as it hooked me in as it had many twists and turns as it told of how they would survive the cold and the craziness that has been happening. But the book did have its cons like how in the beginning it is kind of slow but as it goes on it hooks you in and tells you how they survive their dangerous lives.
The book was fairly good in my eyes and I feel if you like adventures or The life as we knew it series then this is a very good book for you. The book had lots of fun and crazy parts but that’s what made the book better, I really enjoyed it and I think you will too.
